Chicagoans were "Blessed and Highly Favored" as The Clark Sisters sung praises unto God under the instructions of Psalms 100 which states: "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands... Serve the Lord with gladness; come before his presence with singing."
In a recent concert produced by Unlimited Boundaries Productions and held at The House Of Hope; The legendary gospel siblings... took center stage as the audience entusiastically received The Clark Sisters with a standing ovation which transitioned from applause of the much anticipated recording, artist into an atmosphere of praise and worship.
The Clark Sisters were radiant, engaging and beautifully adorned from head to toe as they s-a-n-g familiar songs of yesteryear and current billboard hits of today - accompanied by their adoring fans who joined in chorus being familiar with every lyric and word.
The overwhelming presence of the Almighty filled the room with His joy and resonated from person to person. It was an exhilarating moment in time to witness the historical reunion of Twinkie Clark and her sisters; Dorinda, Karen and Jacky declaring the Greatness of God through song.
This was the day that "Heaven Kissed Chicago and Blessed our Souls!"
After years of recording individual albums, the sisters - Jacky, Elbernita "Twinkie" Clark-Terrell, Karen Clark-Sheard, and Dorinda Clark-Cole - came together for "One Last Time" last July in Houston .
"I believe that God has hooked us up for such a time as this because we are getting older and we all have our own individual ministries and careers," Dorinda says. "But my mother has always said to us, 'Y'all stick together.' "
